Description
You are a mining robot in the town of Utopia which was recently hit by a damaging storm. Use your drilling abilities to help the local people rebuild their town, complete missions, mine for minerals, and purchase upgrades to help you drill further.

Really charming game. I played it at work and was worried I wouldn’t finish it before I had to go home. It was a good length, I don’t usually finish a lot of the games I play. Music is a bit annoying after awhile, I would have liked a mute button. The graphics are really well done. Was a little bit too easy, upgrades could have been a little harder to get.

After reading your comment I went and played “Mega Miner” and I must say while Mega Miner took a lot more time to beat, Utopian Mining has obviously improved on the game in many areas:
1. The way you get missions and level up is better in Utopian Mining.
2. There was at least some attempt made at a storyline in Utopian Mining.
3. Utopian Mining at least has some sort of credits screen so you know when you’ve completed the game. Seriously what kind of game doesn’t even congratulate you after spending 2.5 hours finding every last stupid gem?
